WE’VE BEEN SHOT!

We recently had the ginormongous pleasure of having the incredibly lovely and insanely talented Christine, from Pobke Photography, shoot our family. Photographically speaking, of course. But you knew that.
Staying overnight with us, she starting shooting the minute we woke up. Literally. I threatened to sleep with my hair straighteners but I guess the whole point of doing this kind of session was to capture us and our family as well really are. Day to day and moment to moment. So she got me bed head and all, though I have to confess I snuck out during breakfast and hid in the bathroom for 15 minutes, emerging with just a slightly straighter version of real.  There’s only so much honesty I can handle that time of morning.

I was absolutely stoked and over the moon when I saw her blog post this morning.  Words cannot begin to describe how grateful I am for the gift she has given us, for the memories of our life and the way it is at this point in time. I already have visions of the photobooks that will come out at 21sts and weddings, and the walls that will be soon covered with these images. I’m so happy happy happy thinking about it.  Everyone with a family needs to do this at some point in their life. Seriously!
