We have a winner!

Ok, firstly I thought there was a programme out there that would randomly selected a comment from my comment box. If there is, I couldn’t find it.  So, instead, I went to random.org and typed in the list of commenters myself.  Thankfully I’m not as popular as Tara Whitney (though maybe one day…I can dream…) – her last comment competition had 831 replies!!
Instead of giving me just one name it listed them all in random order (which I should have been able to figure out before hand…doh) so I’ve taken the name that landed at the top of the list to be the recipient of the ever-so-yummy block of Haigh’s chocolate.
And that person is…………. Katie. 🙂

I’ll be in touch, Katie, to grab your address details off you (unless you happen to read this first). Yay.

And I don’t know why I started the first paragraph with ‘firstly’ because there wasn’t really a ‘secondly’, but for the sake of having a second point (really, it’s just coz I want another chance to show off my kids) here’s some pics I took of our kidlets today, as part of my 366 pieces of life project.

Maybe I’m biased here, but I’m convinced that our little girl gets more and more bootiful each day. It scares me sometimes to look at her and imagine what she’ll be like as a young woman.  Especially with lips like hers (I hope daddy’s got a good shotgun by then…).  lol

And here’s our handsome little guy, who not only gets more gorgeous but also sweeter with each day. He really does bring joy to his mama’s heart. 🙂

(Just as a note – for those that are wondering what the ‘366 pieces of life’ is all about – I’ve challenged myself to take a photograph of both our children each day for the entire year (I started on the 1st of Jan, so I have slightly less than 100 days to go…).  Although it has been a lot of work, it has been so much fun and so rewarding. It’s a beautiful thing to have so many pieces of their life, and their character, visually recorded along with little notes each day.  I hope to make it all into a book each for them when I’m done (and one for me too, of course), and trust it will mean as much to them one day as it does to me now.)
