I love unplanned moments. Following through on a random thought or gesture. And I know whipping my camera out on a whim isn’t exactly the definition of spontaneous, so I’m not going to claim to be the one living in the moment in this instance. That honour belongs to some dear friends of ours.
While out visiting our block of land, which is still waiting for a sign that building is going to take place some time in the next 20 years (*sigh*), Nance happened to mention during a conversation that they needed to make their parents happy and get them a family photo done. Now Nance is as excited by the idea of jumping in front of a moving camera as I am, so it definately wasn’t one of those she just happened to mention moments – so I take my hat off to her, and Trev, for not flinching too much when I was all well I just happen to have my camera with me, so why don’t we do it now…. And, voila, 10 minutes later they had some family photos. Just like that. Unplanned. Spur of the moment. Spontaneous.
A few of Jaedon’s beautiful future wife
and one with her big brother – Alicia-Rae’s future husband. Not that we’re into arranged marriages or anything…
Thanks guys for being brave, and for just being you, and letting me be me. 🙂
Love these, by the way – in case I forgot to tell you. x
