A few weeks ago I had a moment of insanity and committed myself, along with an online group of friends and random people, to take one self portrait a week for a whole year.
I’m having a lot of fun so far, and thought I’d share some of the least scary results.

If you happen to be wondering about the last shot, I decided to run a bit of a theme to kick-start my thought process. Each week I hit random on my itunes playlist, and let the music gods pick a song for me. The title of that song is then used as the theme for that week’s photo. So far I’ve had, from top to bottom, Ben Harper’s Beautiful Boy, Angus and Julia Stone’s Walk it off, Alexis Jordan’s Happiness, and Stan Walker’s Choose You. This week I’ll be running with Black and Blue, by Christina Perri. Though I have no idea what I’m doing yet. Suggestions welcome.
