Macro Monday

OK,  so I’ve neglected my Macro Monday’s for a while.  Only from this side of the fence though – my “My Pictures/Macros” folder is rapidly being filled with all things small and pretty. It’s quite addictive really, being able to get up close and personal with objects and viewing them in a whole other light.  And of course, these subjects don’t move so I’m free to take my time examining them, marvelling at the beauty around me.

These are just a few of my recent images – a couple of them in particular are firm canvas canditates for our new house (still yet to be built, *sigh*)

I did embark on a ‘Macro a Day” Project last month but soon found, with all the rain we’ve been getting down here, that there’s only so many photos of raindrops I can take. Bring on Spring and all those beautiful new blossoms.  I can’t wait!
