366 pieces of life | Day 350

Only 16 days of our 366 project to go – I can’t believe it. I don’t know if I’m sad or relieved about the idea though, to tell you the truth.  I’m looking forward to having a day or two where I dont have to get the camera out (though I probably will anyway – old habits are hard to break…) – but will I worry that I’ll be missing something if I’m not on the ball like I have been for the last 349 days?  Anyway, I still have 2 and a bit more weeks to ponder apon these thoughts… 🙂

Nanna and Papa are back in town, which Jaedon’s very excited about. He loves his ‘ana and apa’ – both sets.  And this morning he was very lucky and got to sit down and share a coffee (and babycino) with them, and catch up on the last year’s events.  There’s nothing better than good conversation and make believe coffee (and I’m sure some of the conversation was make beleive too, but hey…).

And this would have been a family photo had Jaedon wanted to get out of the car. So instead we settled for Alicia-Rae and her daddy. At least she was as excited as us about finally, and legally, having some land to our name.
After 5 weeks of waiting we settled on our block today – what a great feeling.  We are so excited not only about getting to build exactly the kind of house we want, but being able to give the kids some space to run around and let their imaginations run wild.  We’re as much as excited for them as we are for ourselves. Space these days is a real gift indeed. We have been blessed.
