We still don’t have internet connection yet, and I am currently running everything via my iPhone – which is a pain in places I’d rather not mention. Hence the lack of blogging recently. Or maybe that’s just an excuse. Maybe I’ve been enjoying the country air too much, and have spent too much time curled up in front of our fire, tea in hand, a head full of thoughts of things I’d write if I could motivate myself to move.
Apparently we should be connected sometime today though (no more excuses) so I’m going to go all out and use the last of my iPhone’s data allowance on this post. It’s a big one – Telstra better come through for me!
Allen and Vivian are getting married in December, and I’ll be photographing their wedding. If the day is half as gorgeous as these two themselves I’ll be a swooning blubbering mess. I mean, look them. How into each other are they. Doesn’t every woman dream of being held and adored like Allen does Viv? And doesn’t every man long, even if secretly, to look into the face of his love as if gazing deep into a mirror?
Allen and Vivian, you have something very wonderful and very precious. I can feel it with every ounce of my swooning heart, even if I couldn’t see it clear as day right in front of me. I can’t wait to be there with you as you commit your lives to one another and move forward into the wonderful things this life has in store for you. And I promise not to turn into a blubbering mess. On the outside anyway.
And thanks for saving me from death by freezing, Viv. I’m grateful your wedding’s in summer, where I won’t have to worry about forgetting my jacket or losing my fingers to frostbite.
