SUMMER | PHOTO A DAY | EIGHTEEN

If we could somehow imagine how we’d like our days to unfold, what kind of wonders we’d like them to be filled with, and the people we’d like to be surrounded by, and bring those days to life, I’m sure each and every day for  the kids would be just like this one. Which went something like:
Walk to train station. Catch train. Exit train. Up a lift. Exit station. Up a lift. Meet friends. Try and talk mummy into buying sweets. Give up. Go back down lift, with friends. Enter station. Go down another lift. Catch the next train. Exit train. Up a lift. Cross platform. Down a lift. Watch some country trains for a while. Muck around with friends for a bit. Up a lift. Down a lift. Up a lift. Cross platform. Down a lift. Catch Train. Exit train. Wait around on platform. Sit with friends for a while. Catch train. Exit train. Up a lift. Exit Station. Up a lift. Enter bookstore. Enter cafe. Have coffee. Sit down, muck around, and talk with friends for a bit. Exit coffee shop. Exit Boookstore. Down a lift. Up a lift. Exit Melbourne Central. Catch tram. Muck around with friends for a bit. Exit tram. Find playground. Muck around with friends for a bit. Climb too high on the equipment and beg mummy for a rescue. Muck around with friends for a bit. Leave playground. Catch tram. Exit tram. Enter chocolate shop. Buy chocolate. Eat chocolate. Exit chocolate shop. Walk to end of street. Muck around with friends for a bit. Enter coffee shop. Eat. Exit coffee shop. Get caught in the rain. Shelter from the rain. Say goodbye to friends. Walk sadly to end of street. Enter train station. Catch train. Muck around with mummy for a bit. Exit train. Walk home. Wait to tell daddy all about it.
Yes, every day would be just like this one.
