SUMMER | PHOTO A DAY | DAY ELEVEN

What do you do to entertain yourself in an empty backyard, save a clothesline, when the party’s over and you’re all sugared up with no-where to go?

Trust Jaedon to come up with the perfect solution.

You all know the poem ‘Georgie Porgie’?  How he kissed the girls and made them cry, and ran away when all the boys came out to play?  Well that poem probably has nothing to do with this photo, but it was the first thing that came to mind when I thought about how to explain the relevance behind it, and why I love it so much.
Despite her crazy nature, and extroverted confidence that she displays (see yesterdays photos) AR gets unbelievably embarrassed when it comes to kissing people (when she’s not in it for something, that is).  It usually results in her trying to hide behind the nearest parent (in this case, me) or burying her head in the carpet if she’s indoors.
We’re kind of hoping this lasts until she’s married at least.  But in the meantime will cherish it as just one of her quirky little ways.
