I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am right now. Seriously. I can’t. But I’ll try. Tomorrow morning I’ll be flying up to Sydney in preparation for a workshop on Monday. With Jasmine Star.
I’ve been anticipating this since she announced it on the 6th of August, meaning I’ve marked off 156 sleeps to get to this point. It’s a bit like Christmas really.
I’m excited because I’m a huge admirer of Jasmine, have been for a while, as much for who she is, what she does, how she does it and why as for her photography.
I’m excited to be able to hear her story, first hand, of how she’s worked her way to the dizzying heights she’s at in such an incredibly short space of time.
I’m excited because I’ll have three whole days to myself, though it doesn’t come entirely guilt free.
And I’m excited also to be meeting with a group of fabulous, like minded, equally passionate photographers, who are as enthusiastic about this as me, and who are looking to take their personal journies, and businesses, to the next level. How exciting.
Can you tell I’m excited? 🙂
Just wanted to share that with you – had to get it off my chest really. Considering I’ve often been on the verge of stopping random strangers in the street to tell them, “Guess what!..”, I think I’ve done an awesome job of not rabbiting on about it here for the last 5 months. But I can’t promise the same once I get back. Consider yourselves warned.
Here’s to Sydney. Here’s to Jasmine Star. And here’s to the 19 fabulous photographers I’m about to share a crazy day with. Can’t wait to meet you all.
(And just because I can’t not post an image, here’s another from our recent trip to Warrnambool. Its got that motivational poster vibe to it, that encourages us to dream big. That’s what I’m doing right now, so it suits me fine. 🙂 )
