POTD | DAY 4

Gosh, I’m tired.  It’s be a cuh-ray-zee day here today.  It started out ok, but wound down during the afternoon to include the worst tram ride of my entire life, two miserable children who couldn’t see the sense in napping, an innocent trip to the supermarket that ended in a severe ‘blow-out’ (of the tummy-ache kind) for our poor little guy, and a frazzled mummy who had no change of clothes and three nappy wipes on hand, then a trip to the doctors (without having a chance to go home for clothes) to repair Alicia-Rae’s cast that cracked and fell off (!!!) who sent us off back to the Emergency, trouser-less and shoe-less, after stocking Jaedon up on a drinking cup full of jelly beans to keep him happy. They mightn’t have kept him happy, but I certainly had the most active upset boy in the hospital at the time.  Got home and unpacked my sodden groceries that used to be frozen, fed the kids McDonald’s for dinner and used-to-be-ice cream for dessert, winning mother of the year award in the process. Put their jammies on, brushed their teeth, read them a story, kissed their sweet little faces goodnight, and here I am.  Is it bedtime yet?

But apart from that it was ok.  🙂

A slightly different picture from me today, and a little out of my comfort zone in that I approached a total stranger and asked if I could take her photo.  I couldn’t resist really – it was a scene begging to be captured.  Until Jaedon jumped out of the pram, just after this shot, chasing the pidgeons away with the ends of his shoes.  He’s not my child all.
