.spring.

How long have I been waiting for this day?  Too long!
I love spring. I mean LOOUUUUUUUUURVE spring.
The freshness
the not quite so cold mornings
the fact that winter’s over
the cute little lambs
blossoms
skivvies folded up and put away
the smell of freshly mowed grass (or is that mown – for those that know the difference between simple past tense and past particible…)
spring sales.  woohoo.
did I mention the cute little lambs
salads (actually I lie.  I hate salads.  I thought it would make me look good though)
open toed shoes without the frostbite (girls – you need to read that link)
being able to ditch the dryer
the scent of line-dried clothes
walking to the shops, instead of bundling everyone up in the car
stopping to smell the flowers along the way
daffodils
yellow
blue skies
happy songs wistled by old men, and young men in love
love
the anticipation of Christmas
birds heralding the new day at a decent hour
our wedding anniversary
new memories
new life
life.

Happy First Day of Spring!  🙂
